For some years now, Lens has registered steady growth in the number of people living there; to be more specific, the population has changed by 5.07%, to 4536 inhabitants.

Population statistics

On average, people earn CHF 80’685 annually. The proportion of university graduates is 25.91%; 12.45% of residents have higher vocational education, and 38.42% have SEK II qualifications. In addition, 23.24% of residents are currently in compulsory schooling. Currently, 1.12% of the population is unemployed.
